Have you ever tried butter pecan cake? oh my! I am usually a lover of only chocolate or vanilla cake but I saw a butter pecan flavored cake mix the other day. Chris likes that flavor more than I do so I thought of him when I bought it. Especially since I knew the cake I would make with it would be sent to work with him :). Anyway, after I leveled my cake I tasted the scraps and it was YUMMY!!! It is my new favorite cake flavor! This is a picture of the butter pecan cake of course covered with yummy buttercream icing. Don't make fun of my black icing (those are called drop strings) because it is way harder than it looks and this is the first cake I have made using those.
